The Importance of Plants in our life!
We will study the traditional knowledge and customs of people
concerning plants and their uses in daily routines to understand
the importance of teaching children to grow flowers, vegetables
and herbs so they experience first hand about the natural
environment with a focus to greening the urban environment.
We need to encourage our children to be participants not just
spectators in community horticulture and conservation, to love nature
and physical activity and develop problem solving skills.
We will take a guided tour of the Enid A. Haupt Conservatory.
with interactive Seed Exploration: planting and
other seed related activities in a Plant Parts Paradise.
